设计之所以有趣，

便是在于它的复杂性，以及随机性。

Design is interesting 

because of its complexity and randomness.

豌豆种子，便是这样的一个设计项目。之所以说它复杂。是因为绘本馆的属性，你很难去判断，我们究竟应该单纯的依托理性的使用功能，还是感性的情景视觉去作为设计展开的主导思路。再加上本身就不算充裕的建筑空间，如何把该项目的诸多实际使用诉求囊括其中，也是我们不得不去思考的问题。所以越小的空间，反而蕴藏着更多的思考。

Wonder Seed is such a design project. The reason why it is complex is because of the attributes of the picture book library. It's hard to judge whether we should design with rational use function or perceptual scene vision. In addition, it is not enough architectural space. How to include many practical demands of the project is also a problem we have to think about. So the smaller the space, the more thinking there is.

因此，从自由实用主义的角度去思考。绘本馆首先要满足其实际使用功能。这其中就包括：绘本的分类存放、便于小朋友的拿取方式、教学的使用需求（这包括独立教室、小剧场、开放教室等）、同时还要兼顾父母等候区、教职员工的办公休息区、卫生间（独立的成人与孩童卫生间）、储藏间等功能。

其次是审美及功能设置的多样性思考。因为其独特的商业性质，我们不仅要满足适龄儿童对于空间使用的需求；同时还得满足陪同家长的使用习惯及尺度。甚至在一定程度上，我们还要在儿童核心使用区域外，有更多偏向于成年人审美标准的设计考虑。因为这将是一个复合性的审美需求标准。且面向大众。

Secondly, the diversity of aesthetic and functional settings. Because of its unique commercial nature, we should not only meet the needs of school-age children for space use, but also meet the use habits and standards of accompanying parents. Even to a certain extent, we need to have more design considerations that are biased towards adult aesthetic standards outside the core use areas of children. Because this will be a compound aesthetic standard, and for the public.

所以，这将是一个复杂的思考过程，任何一个参与环节，都将决定该项目最后的成果。那么参与的设计者便产生了随机性。我很难想象，如果在两年前，我接到这个案子，会是怎样的思考方式。两年前，我有了自己的孩子，并陪伴其成长，这个过程是前所未有的变革，家庭的生活习惯、使用习惯、注意事项都产生了诸多微妙且密切相关的变化。而这些变化，便实际反馈在了本次的设计之中。同时，业主方的参与也尤为重要，试想一下，如果他们不是一群年轻，且具备国际化教育理念的经营者。我们又将把设计带向何处？

It will be a complex thinking process. The final outcome of the project will be determined by any participation. Then the designers involved in the project design will produce randomness. I can't imagine how I would have thought if I had received this case two years ago. Two years ago, I had my own children and accompanied them to grow up. This process is an unprecedented change. Many subtle and closely related changes have taken place in the family's living habits, use habits and precautions. These changes are actually fed back in this design. At the same time, the participation of the owners is particularly important. Imagine if they are not a group of young operators with the concept of international education. Where will we lead the design?

庆幸的是，在双方的密切协作与努力下。豌豆种子终于呈现出了我们所希望的样子。同时，它也得到了市场的认可。且在保证品质、效果、环保的前提下，我们通过设计，有效的控制了成本，为使用者营造出了最为合理的建筑空间。

Fortunately, thanks to the close cooperation and efforts of both sides. At last, wonder seed show what we want, and at the same time, they are recognized by the market. Under the premise of ensuring quality, effect and environmental protection, we have effectively controlled the cost through design and created the most reasonable building space for users.
